Sculpture: THE EXPRESSIVE FIGURE IN WAX
DATES: 3rd - 4th November 2024
TIME: 10am- 4pm.

AGE/ABILITY: Adults, all abilities welcome.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:This immersive, hands-on course is perfect for artists of all levels, from beginners to those refining their craft. You’ll have the rare opportunity to work from a live model each morning, honing your skills in both drawing and sculpting through direct observation.
Morning sessions will focus on capturing the form, movement, and subtle details of the human figure. Through a combination of sketches and quick wax maquettes, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of anatomy and gesture. In the afternoons, you’ll take the ideas and forms from the morning further, refining your sculptures while incorporating secondary source materials and your own imagination.
We will limit numbers to a maximum of 10 students to allow lots of space and individual tuition. Materials included in the cost. Messy clothes advised.
