Course Description:
Designed for young artists aged 6 to 11, this rolling Saturday Art Club is offered in half-term blocks, encouraging ongoing creative development in a professional artist’s studio environment. Most participants attend regularly, benefiting from a continuous artistic journey.
Throughout the sessions, students will explore a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking, with a particular focus on observational drawing. Activities blend working from direct observation and imagination to build strong foundational creative skills.
Classes are led by experienced tutors Sam Halstead and Phoebe Stannard, both skilled in teaching children and young people.
To ensure individual attention and a spacious working environment, places are limited to 15 students per session. All materials are provided. Tutors hold up-to-date DBS checks.
