Summer 24: Art on the Coast
DATES: 1st and 15th August 2025
TIME: 3hrs, tide dependent.
AGE/ABILITY: 6-17 years, all abilities welcome.
FEES: £15 per session.
TUTORS: Sam Halstead & Phoebe Stannard
Come and join this fun, creative workshop on the coast: drawing the sea and cliffs, surfers and walkers at the harbour and on the beach. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on sand sculptures and drawings, as well as casting natural forms in the sand, examining form and function.
All activities will be weather and tide dependant and will take place in either Boscastle, Trebarwith and Crackington with the studios as back up in case of summer storms. More info will follow nearer the time.
We will limit numbers to a maximum of 10 students. All materials included. Please bring a water bottle, morning snack and messy clothes, wet weather gear and sun cream and hats. Tutors have an up to date DBS check.
