Looking for a creative experience to enjoy together? Our bespoke family workshops are designed around you, whether you're celebrating a special occasion, entertaining visiting family, or simply looking for a memorable day out in North Cornwall.

Suitable for adults only or mixed family groups with children aged 5+, each workshop takes place in our professional artist's studio and sculpture garden and is tailored to the interests, ages and experience of your group. No previous artistic experience is needed – just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.

Choose from one of our workshop themes below, or get in touch if you have your own creative idea. We're always happy to create something unique.

Prices start from £30 per adult and £15 per child.

Workshop Options:

Monoprinting

Discover the expressive world of monoprinting, experimenting with direct, additive and subtractive techniques using a still-life setup and our traditional studio printing press.

Sun Printing - Cyanotypes & Anthotypes

Create beautiful camera-less prints using sunlight. Experiment with vibrant blue cyanotypes and natural anthotypes made from plant pigments, leaves and found objects.

Drypoint Printmaking

Scratch expressive drawings into printing plates before inking and printing them on our professional etching press to create your own unique prints.

Clay Workshop

Explore hand-building techniques to make pinch pots, coil pots and sculptural clay figures in this fun, tactile workshop suitable for all ages.

Drawing Workshop

Develop observational drawing skills in the studio or sculpture garden, or experiment with playful drawing techniques using a variety of materials and approaches.

Stop Motion Animation

Work together to create a short animated film using drawings, clay, cut paper or found objects, bringing your ideas to life frame by frame.

Make a Dorodango

Experience the calming Japanese art of crafting a polished earth sphere from soil, water and patience in this surprisingly satisfying workshop.

Planning Your Workshop

Every bespoke workshop is tailored to your group, including the pace, activities and level of challenge. Whether you're booking for two people or bringing the whole family together, we'll create a relaxed and inspiring creative experience.
