August 1st: Monoprinting
August 8th: Clay
August 29th: Cyanotypes & Anthotypes

Interested but can’t make the listed dates, or prefer something different?
We offer bespoke sessions — choose one of the options below or suggest your own idea, and we’ll work with your schedule:

Option 1: Monoprinting workshop
Explore monoprinting techniques from simple direct prints to additive and subtractive methods using a still-life setup and the studio printing press.
Option 2: Sun Printing – Cyanotypes & Anthotypes
Make beautiful camera-less prints using cyanotypes (a sunlight-powered photographic process that creates vivid blue images with botanicals and found objects) and anthotypes (plant-based prints made with natural pigments printed in the sun).
Option 3: Drypoint workshop
Create expressive line-based prints by incising into plates, then inking and printing using the studio press.
Option 5: Clay workshop
Learn hand-building techniques to make a coil pot, pinch pot, and a clay figure in this fun, tactile session.
Option 6: Drawing session
Focus on observational still life drawing in the studios or in the sculpture garden or explore experimental drawing techniques using a variety of materials and playful mark-making approaches — great for all confidence levels.
Option 7: Stop motion animation
Create your own mini movie using simple stop motion animation techniques. Use drawings, clay, cut-outs, or found objects to bring your ideas to life frame by frame.
Option 8: Making a Dorodango
Learn the meditative Japanese art of crafting a Dorodango — a polished earth sphere made from soil and patience. A surprisingly satisfying and grounding process for all ages.
