Summer 25: Art on the Coast
Dates: 1st and 15th August 2025

Course Description:
This engaging coastal workshop is designed for adults and children to create together, drawing inspiration from the sea, cliffs, surfers, and walkers. Adults and children will collaborate on sand sculptures, cast natural forms, and experiment with block printmaking inspired by the textures and patterns of shells, cliffs, and other coastal features, encouraging a shared creative experience in nature.
Activities are weather- and tide-dependent, with the nearby studio available as a backup during summer storms. Further details will be provided closer to the dates.
Numbers are limited to a maximum of 15 participants (adult and child) to ensure
space and individual attention. All materials are included. Please bring a water bottle, a morning snack, messy clothes, wet weather gear, sun cream, and a hat. Tutors hold up-to-date DBS checks.
